My kind of beautiful

Hello everyone!
Hope you are all have a great summer! This time of year is just so busy, that there is not as much scrappy time as I would like. I did get a couple of projects done though: The first is a layout of my hubby and his best friend. They were out shooting waterfalls and decided to take a self protrait, these two guys really are nuts!! I love this photo! I tried to give it an outdoor feel with browns and greens, and the paper and vine have been glimmer misted although it is hard to see in the photo.

The second is a Criss Cross card that I made for my card swap group. I found this tutorial on my friend Anna's pinterest board and loved it, it was pretty easy and super fun to make! :)
